KoolMoves is web animation authoring software that creates Flash movies (a highly compressed file format suited for animation on the web) and frames for animated gifs.

You can select from a library of animated text effects, import vector clipart, fill shapes with colour gradients or bitmaps, add actions and sounds to buttons and frames, and create mouse-over effects.

You can put together a cartoon strip, with each frame containing text, shapes, and sounds. KoolMoves automatically morphs between each of your drawings to create smooth, animated motion between frames. Also included is dynamic text and a clip art library.

Text and non-text shapes can be made into buttons and assigned actions of go to frame, stop movie, play movie, load and unload movie, and get URL. A time/event chart manages sounds and actions associated with frames. The program can play the animation in it's internal player, in a web browser, or a stand-alone Flash player.

Features include movie clips, Flash 5 action scripting, button library, button gallery, zoom and spin effects, web interfaces, clip art, and motion scipts.

The trial version of this program has the save disabled and a watermark on exported animations.
