PajantImage is an ActiveX Component for the acquisition, display and processing of images and animations from within your own Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft Visual Basic, Borland Delphi and Borland C++ Builder programs.

The program supports the most popular image formats and acquisition from Twain drivers and the clipboard. It allows BMP, PNG/MNG and JPEG images to be exported to/imported from memory, for easy storage in relational database fields.

PajantImage can display images in any given window. Images can be zoomed, scrolled or scaled to fit the size of that window. Multiple frame images can be displayed frame by frame, or as animations. There are modes to allow the selection of regular and irregular regions for processing.

Current image processing functions include resizing and rotation with interpolation, thresholding, invertion, binary morph, grey scale morph, convolution, pixel count, histogram functions, and median cut palette reduction with error diffusion.

PajantImage also supports alpha masks, transparent colours, multiple colour spaces and can handle images of any pixel depth up to 16 bits per pixel (48 bit colour images).
