WIRM was designed as a simple to use task tray application, providing the basic feature set of quickies, and the Display Properties control panel applet.

You can right click to bring down the main menu, and with a single click from there, you can select any resolution that your monitor/display adapter can support.

Using the simple wallpaper manager, you can use gif and jpeg images, as well as bmps, without the degradation in performance and stability that active desktop brings.

The program also shows a history of the last five wallpapers that you have used through WIRM, and supports cycling of wallpapers.

WIRM (Wallpaper, Icon and Resolution Manager) is licensed as freeware and is therefore free to download, use and keep.
