TIFNY searches your favourite Usenet newsgroups and downloads images, music, video, and other files that interest you.

The program opens up to 6 simultaneous news server connections and has extensive filtering and automation features. TIFNY downloads all file types, supports UUencode, Base64, and yEnc formats, and handles multi-segment files.

Other features include a built-in MP3 player, an image viewer, a video player, and a thumbnailer to easily browse files by directory, newsgroup, date, file type, and keyword.
