If you want to deliver your Menu, web site, PDF file, PowerPoint presentation, video, SlideShow, just about anything, on a CD-ROM then AutoRun is the tool you need. AutoRun comes with 2 Wizards that are designed to help get your project started. The Wizards will guide you through the process of creating your first project, explaining everything along the way.

AutoRun can open any file of any type (EXE, PDF, PPS, HTM, MPG, etc.) when your CD is inserted. It will open your files into their default viewer (e.g. HTML files in Internet Explorer). If your end user doesn't have the software to view your files there's no problem, AutoRun will detect this and install the viewer. If your Target File is a PDF file, AutoRun will automatically load it in the latest version of Acrobat installed on the user's machine.

AutoRun can be used to create and display your SlideShows. You can specify the window size, background colour and music, and use as many images as you like. The program can display almost any image file type, and can even spread your images over the length of your background music. AutoRun now comes with 5 Internal Viewers (Menu, Web, Media, Zip, Flash). These viewers allow you to control the look and feel of the window as well as the content.

The program offers 2 levels of protection:

Disk Security: Protect your CD from being used by the wrong people. Select from one of 6 types of Disk Security including Serial Number, Username / Password file, End User License Agreement, and CD Expiry Date.

File Security: Protect the files on your CD. AutoRun will compress and encrypt your project files and only extract them at run-time. This keeps users from browsing your CD and viewing your files.

You can use Disk and File security alone or together for maximum security.

Display your company or product logo (or any image) as a Splash Screen, which will show when your CD is inserted. You can set the amount of time the Splash Screen is shown, and even play sound in the background. The program supports most image file types, animated GIF's, MP3 files, and background colours.
