dtNotes (desktop notes) is a small handy application that allows you to place electronic sticky notes onto your computer monitor.

All notes can be colour-coded, their size and location are individually adjustable, and an unlimited number of notes can be displayed simultaneously. Notes can be displayed on the desktop or on top of all windows to always be in front of your eyes.

The notes come with a task scheduler, reminder and alarm options. At a time you set, a certain application can be launched or a sound alarm will be triggered, making sure you do not forget anything. There are also note archives, automatic backup and note import/export options. You can create your own note templates too.

It is easy to create, modify and manage notes. There are system-wide hotkeys that let you create a new note by simply pressing a hotkey combination or double-clicking a program system tray icon. The program note list manager can be used as a "To Do" list. dtNotes also features an option to stamp notes with the date and time they were created. You can even turn a note into a desktop clock that you can place anywhere you want.
