AimAtSite IE Toolbar is a comprehensive search solution for Microsoft Internet Explorer. It uses Windows XP or Windows 2000 Indexing Service to index the content of web pages you are visiting. Then it requests this index for the pages you want to find and you receive a result list which contains pages addresses, titles and short abstracts.

You can form simple queries or with the help of the Indexing Service query language you can form queries of any level of complexity. Also you can choose options to search among all visited pages or among the pages included in your favourites list.

Unlike the built-in history search tool AimAtSite provides: better performance, sorting by rank or title or date of visit, pages abstracts and flexible queries. The program offers an improved Current page search and provides quick access to Online search services, such as search engines, dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc.

Twenty links to the most popular search sites are available in the evaluation version including: Google, AltaVista, Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, MSN Encarta Online Encyclopedia, Columbia Encyclopedia, etc.

The registered version provides more than 80 search links including more than 60 additional: Ask Jeeves, MSN Search, Yahoo, Cambridge Online Dictionary, WordReference.com dictionaries for English, French, Spanish, German and Italian languages, InfoPlease Encyclopedia and Almanacs, etc.
